Open Source Tunisie

The Ministry of Communication Technologies has started the field surveys related to the Strategic Study on Open Source Software in Tunisia. As the first step of the study, these surveys will closely examinate the usage  the development attitudes and the technical skills  related to Open Source Software in Tunisia. The surveys target a comprehensive samples of public and private enterprises, computer services and engineering companies, academia and higher education institutions, and open source communities. The  collected data from surveys is then used to establish an international  benchmark comparing Tunisia to other countries. Moreover, a roadmap that comes under the realization of the national plan of Open Source Software is to be established using the surveys results.
