E-learning :Passport for the Information Society

The object of the PSI2L (Passport for Information Society & open source software) is to help learners having a certain mastery of owner environment acquire a specific training which enables them to adopt open source software.

This e-learning is intended for basic learning of the following tools:

  • General introduction to the computer
  • Word processor (Open Office Write)
  • Spreadsheet (Open Office Calc)
  • Presentation Tool (Open Office Impress)
  • Painting Tool (Open Office Draw)
  • Web Navigation (Mozilla Firefox)
  • Electronic mail (Mozilla Thunderbird)

The training is planned to be carried out online with some grouping sessions with a tutor.
This choice is imposed by what follows:

  • To allow the learner to be trained at his/her pace
  • To allow the learner to be trained according to his/her availabilities
  • To help the learners who need assistance
  • To be able to evaluate the learners acquisition of new knowledge and know-how
