E-learning :Passport for the Information Society
The object of the PSI2L (Passport for Information Society & open source software) is to help learners having a certain mastery of owner environment acquire a specific training which enables them to adopt open source software.
This e-learning is intended for basic learning of the following tools:
- General introduction to the computer
- Word processor (Open Office Write)
- Spreadsheet (Open Office Calc)
- Presentation Tool (Open Office Impress)
- Painting Tool (Open Office Draw)
- Web Navigation (Mozilla Firefox)
- Electronic mail (Mozilla Thunderbird)
The training is planned to be carried out online with some grouping sessions with a tutor.
This choice is imposed by what follows:
- To allow the learner to be trained at his/her pace
- To allow the learner to be trained according to his/her availabilities
- To help the learners who need assistance
- To be able to evaluate the learners acquisition of new knowledge and know-how
